In-Store Fitment & Workshop Terms

Effective date: 2 August 2026

These terms apply when you visit or leave a vehicle with XLER PTY LTD trading as Yara Auto Parts (ABN 84 665 134 958) for inspection, fitting or related workshop services. They operate subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Appointments, quotes and booking deposits

Fitment is by appointment unless we agree otherwise. Quotes are based on information available before work begins and may change if the vehicle, product or required work differs from what was disclosed. Any booking deposit and cancellation terms will be stated when the booking is made.

If a booking is cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, we may retain or charge only reasonable, disclosed and non-recoverable costs, including specially ordered items or work already performed, to the extent permitted by law.

2. Accurate vehicle and accessory information

You must provide the correct make, model, year, variant, body style, cab type, tub length and relevant modifications. Tell us about existing accessories, canopies, sports bars, tub liners, wiring, prior repairs, corrosion, water leaks, alarms, trackers, dash cameras or electrical issues that may affect the work.

3. Authority to inspect and work on the vehicle

You authorise us to move, inspect, photograph and, where reasonably necessary, road-test the vehicle for quoting, installation, quality control and diagnosis. We will only perform the agreed work or additional work authorised by you, except for reasonable immediate steps needed to make the vehicle safe or prevent further damage.

4. Pre-existing condition

We may record the vehicle's condition before work. We are not responsible for pre-existing scratches, dents, corrosion, loose trim, paint defects, leaks, alignment problems, wiring faults, prior repairs or fragile aftermarket parts, except to the extent our work causes or worsens damage and liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Drilling, cutting and modification

Some accessories require drilling, cutting, trimming, clamp marks, wiring changes, removal or relocation of existing parts, or alteration of sports bars, tub liners or brackets. We will obtain approval where the work is material or not reasonably apparent from the agreed installation. Product appearance, fit and water resistance can be affected by the vehicle and existing accessories.

6. Additional work and delays

If hidden damage, incompatible accessories, seized fasteners, corrosion, non-standard wiring or other unexpected conditions require extra work, we will seek approval for additional charges where reasonably practicable. Completion estimates are not guarantees and may change due to parts, vehicle condition, supplier delays or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

7. Personal property, cameras and security

Remove valuables, loose items and sensitive cargo before drop-off. Tell us if the vehicle contains a dash camera, cabin camera, tracker or recording device. You remain responsible for personal property left in the vehicle unless loss or damage results from our failure to take reasonable care.

8. Workshop and premises safety

For safety, customers and visitors must remain in reception, customer parking or another designated area unless escorted by staff. Do not enter the workshop, warehouse, storage, loading or vehicle-movement areas without permission. Follow signs and staff directions, supervise children, keep pets restrained, and immediately report spills, trip hazards, injuries or unsafe conditions.

Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury, negligence or other matters where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

9. Collection, inspection and reporting

Inspect the vehicle and installed product at collection. Visible scratches, missing parts, cosmetic damage, incorrect positioning or obvious installation concerns should be reported within 7 days. Other workmanship concerns should be reported promptly and within the 30-day workmanship warranty period. A delay may affect our ability to determine cause, but does not remove non-excludable rights.

10. Payment and release

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due before the vehicle or product is released. We may retain the vehicle or product only where permitted by law. If collection is unreasonably delayed after notice that work is complete, reasonable disclosed storage costs may apply.

11. Removed parts

Tell us before work begins if you want removed parts returned. For safety, environmental or supplier-warranty reasons, some parts may need to be retained, returned to a supplier or disposed of appropriately. If no request is made, you authorise reasonable disposal.

12. Product and workmanship warranty

Products and installation are covered by our Warranty & Installation Policy. Work performed directly by Yara Auto Parts has a 30-day voluntary workmanship warranty, in addition to ACL rights. Roller shutters are weather-resistant, not completely waterproof.

13. Unauthorised third-party work

Contact us before another person diagnoses, repairs, removes or reinstalls the product on our behalf. Unauthorised work may prevent reliable assessment of the original issue. Third-party expenses require prior written approval unless law requires otherwise or urgent action is reasonably necessary for safety.
