4. Aftermarket Parts Disclaimer

Unless otherwise stated, all products sold by Yara Auto Parts are aftermarket parts and are not genuine OEM parts.

Aftermarket products may differ from original manufacturer parts in material, finish, colour tone, shape detail, mounting method, or installation style. Minor adjustment may sometimes be required during fitting. This does not automatically mean the item is faulty.

5. Installation

Many of our products are vehicle-specific automotive accessories. Professional installation is recommended for products that require fitting, alignment, drilling, wiring, adhesive application, or modification.

We are not responsible for any issue, damage, or loss arising from:

  • incorrect installation

  • forced fitting

  • installation by an unqualified person

  • failure to follow instructions

  • vehicle modifications or non-standard configurations

  • incompatibility caused by pre-existing accessories or aftermarket additions

  • damage caused during attempted installation or removal

An installer’s opinion that a product is difficult to fit, or their refusal or inability to install it, does not automatically mean the product is defective.

We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information relating to product descriptions, pricing, availability, shipping charges, promotions, or specifications at any time without prior notice.

No return may be sent back without prior approval from our team.

Approved returns must be sent back in accordance with our policy. Unless required under the Australian Consumer Law, return shipping costs, re-delivery costs, and related transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumer guarantees cannot be excluded, and consumers are entitled to remedies when goods fail to meet those guarantees.

9. Warranty and Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. ACCC guidance states businesses cannot take away these consumer guarantee rights through store policies or contract terms.

To the extent permitted by law, our warranty does not cover:

  • misuse or abuse

  • accidental damage

  • normal wear and tear

  • modification or alteration of the product

  • damage caused by third-party workmanship

  • labour, workshop, fitting, removal, or reinstallation costs
