These weather shields are designed for adhesive tape installation. Correct surface preparation is important for secure adhesion.
- Clean and dry the window frame mounting area thoroughly.
- Remove wax, dust, polish, oil and moisture from the surface.
- Test-fit each weather shield and confirm the correct position.
- For better adhesion, gently warm the adhesive tape with a hair dryer if required.
- Peel a small section of backing tape first and align carefully.
- Press firmly along the full contact area after final positioning.
- Hold pressure for approximately 30–60 seconds.
- Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the area to heavy rain for at least 24–48 hours after installation.
Important: Do not install on a wet, dusty, waxed or oily surface. Test-fit before removing adhesive backing. Professional installation is recommended for best alignment and finish.
